Tails flew over Blaze's house, where Silver, still carrying the sleeping Blaze, jumped out, using his psychokinesis to levitate to the window of Blaze's room. Silver reveled in being able to use his psychokinesis again, and was enjoying himself considerably. He laid Blaze in her bed, and was ready to crawl into bed next to her, but noticed that Blaze seemed to be sweating profusely. He put a hand to her forehead, and she seemed to be very hot. Silver tried to shake her awake, but she merely murmured something in her sleep and rolled on her side.
Silver decided that the only way to cool Blaze down was to get her clothes off. He blushed at the thought, even though he had done it before. He reached down to take her shoes and socks off, then pulled her tights off. He blushed when he saw her panties. He unzipped her jacket, and pulled it, along with her headband, off. There she was, only in her bra and panties, and Silver blushed again, and he felt a little blood drip from his nose. Embarrassed, he quickly wiped it away.
Silver took off his gloves and boots, crawling into bed next to Blaze. He cuddled up, so that they were back to back, and he was content. Then, Blaze rolled over and wrapped her arms around Silver's waist. "Teddy bear
" she cooed, obviously dreaming. Silver tried to squirm out of her grasp, but it only tightened. Silver eventually gave up, and decided to let himself enjoy it.
When morning came, the first thing Blaze noticed was that her arms were wrapped around Silver. She was blushing until she remembered that in her dreams last night, she had almost death-hugged a teddy bear. The second thing she noticed was that she was only in her bra and panties. She figured that Silver must have taken her clothes off. She blushed, not sure whether to be pleasantly surprised or creeped out about that. She unwrapped her arms from Silver, putting on her robe, which, like most of her clothes, was purple. She went downstairs, to give Silver a little surprise.
When Silver woke up, he was greeted by a giant breakfast in bed, courtesy of Blaze. He bent over to give her a peck on the cheek, making her giggle. He grabbed her and pulled her in bed with him, sharing his breakfast with her as she contentedly laid her head on his shoulder, purring the entire time.
Once Silver had finished his breakfast, he looked at the time. "Eleven o'clock!" he exclaimed. "Blaze," he said, shaking her awake. "Come on, we gotta go meet everyone else! We do have a wedding to plan." Blaze just laid there, still groggy. "Do you want me to get a bucket of ice water?" he teased. That got her out of bed, and changed in rapid time.
They ran to the mall, where everyone was waiting for them. On the ride home in the X-Tornado, when Blaze was still asleep, Silver had asked everyone if they could meet them at the mall the next morning, to help them out with the wedding stuff. They all agreed, eager to help their buddy out.
"Okay," said Rouge. She had taken charge of the whole thing, claiming to know a lot about weddings. No one, especially Knuckles, wanted to know where she got her "experience". "Here's what we're gonna do. Amy and I are gonna go help Blaze pick out a dress and the bridesmaid's dresses. You guys, go get yourselves some tux's. We rendezvous back here in one hour. Okay, move out!"
